Walking Together Through Adversity & Beyond

World Mental Health Month 2025

World Mental Health Month

This October, EOS Footwear stands in solidarity with World Mental Health Month, placing women’s mental health at the forefront.

By walking together through adversity with compassion, we can ensure women in crisis find the safety, stability, and support they need.

EOS Footwear x Feel Good Psychology & Counselling

In recognition of World Mental Health Month, EOS Footwear is collaborating with Feel Good Psychology & Counselling to amplify awareness and advocacy for women’s mental health. This partnership focuses on the Global Mental Health Day theme: “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies.”, as well as the Australian Mental Health Month theme of “Community & Connection”.  Together, we are committed to sharing education, resources, and support networks that empower women, promote wellbeing, and ensure that no woman feels alone when facing adversity.

A Message of Hope

World Mental Health Month is a reminder that together, we can foster resilience, compassion, and healing. EOS Footwear and Feel Good Psychology & Counselling stand united in supporting women through life’s adversities, so every woman can reclaim her strength, her identity, and her voice.

To women everywhere: you are seen, you are supported, and you are never alone.

Compassionate, Trauma-Informed Care

At the heart of Feel Good Psychology & Counselling is a commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care. This means recognising the profound impact crises can have on a woman’s mental health, and providing support that is safe, respectful, and empowering. Care is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to the unique context of each individual’s experience.

Natural Disasters

Bushfires, floods, and earthquakes can leave lasting emotional scars beyond the immediate physical devastation, including anxiety, loss, displacement, and grief.

Medical Emergencies

Serious accidents, chronic illness, or bereavement can bring overwhelming stress, trauma, and a sense of instability.

ABUSE & DISPLACEMENT

Experiences of assault, abuse, or displacement due to unsafe home environments or war, can cause long-term trauma and erode a person’s sense of safety, trust, and identity.
