We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with a keen eye for fashion & footwear to join our passionate in-house marketing and product team.
Responsibilities
- Articulation and execution of visual decisions for our in-house brands (incl. art direction and brand development)
- Work across multiple media (print, digital, web, brand identity, packaging, etc)
- Concept, development and creation of sales & marketing materials (including look books, fit guides, catalogs, advertisement creative, POS, EDM and in-store collateral)
- Assist in creating seasonal campaigns, including concepts, photography briefs and retouching briefs for photoshoots.
- Assist with digital requirements – website updates, email layouts and design, content creation for social media.
- Miscellaneous assistance of the Product Development team, including image retouching and digital product mockups/colour-ups.
- Assist with organizing and archiving all visual and graphic assets.
- Assist with any presentation needs and other projects as assigned to the department.
- Research new trends and techniques, platforms, tools and talent.
- Maintain creative consistency across multiple brand channels.
- Liaise with a range of digital and print professionals, suppliers and stockists.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Knowledge
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role (preferable exposure to retail, advertising and/or fashion)
- Interest in art direction driven by a creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Experience taking projects from initial concepts to final outcomes in fashion environment
- Highly knowledgeable on branding and fashion trends - historical and current
- Skilled in traditional (print, packaging, branding, POS) as well as digital media (EDM, video, social, etc)
- Advanced Adobe CC skills (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD etc)
- Experienced in designing, composing and managing EDMs (preferably Klaviyo) and familiar with other best practices in eCommerce
- Keen interest in photography/videography paired with strong retouching skills
- Strong layout and typography skills and knowledge of CSS and HTML
- Self-determined, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
